OLIVER POPE

There is a rumour that Oliver took his first ever shot whilst still in his pushchair, though history doesn’t actually recall whether he hit anything noteworthy.

Be it true or not, the fact remains that shooting has been in Oliver’s blood from a very early age. His father, Christopher Pope, was the fourth generation that dedicated themselves to creating Wrackleford Estate in Dorset as one of the most prestigious shoots in England, an accolade Oliver effortlessly maintains today.

After a stint in the Army, Oliver returned to run the family Estate in 2004 and created Cooper & Pope with Simon Cooper in 2008. oliver@cooperandpope.co.uk

SIMON COOPER

Thirteen years of age was a big year for Simon – he caught his first trout & shot his first pheasant.

Some would argue that he then went off the rails as fly fishing became his great passion, so much so that after ten years in the corporate marketing jungle he packed it all in to create Fishing Breaks that has become the leading agent for the very best chalkstream fishing in southern England.

However, shooting was always part of Simon’s life so through a shared passion for all things country he and Oliver came together to create The Cooper & Pope Shooting Co. simon@cooperandpope.co.uk
