SINGLES and PAIRS DAY

Join a group for a day to share the fun and exhilaration of a driven clay day on a real game shooting estate, where the drives are set to give you a taste of the real thing, with shooting for all styles and levels of experience.

The day will start with a light breakfast and fresh coffee in the estate house; after a brief introduction by the shoot host we will draw your ‘pegs’ for the day. The 4x4’s will whisk everyone to the first drive of the morning and the shooting will begin. For those who need guns they may be loaned & our special shotgun licence granted for the day by the local police covers each person. Cartridges are supplied or bring your own.

We shoot two drives before lunch and each pair of guests shares the shooting on each drive. Such is the layout of the estate that we can vary the stands in such a way that the difficulty factor can be adapted for the various skill levels. Novices present no problem and will be shooting like demons by the time lunch comes around. Just before we break for lunch we have a fun and exciting decoyed pigeon shoot – but more about that on the day itself.
Every pair of Guns shares an instructor/loader for the day; instruction and advice will be given as and when you want it. Experienced shots will appreciate the instructor who will double up as a loader when the birds fly thick and fast.

An excellent lunch will be served in the dining room of the estate house, rounded off with coffee and port. After lunch it is back into the 4x4’s for two more drives on a different part of the estate. The day will end with prizes for the decoy shoot ‘top guns’ and goodbyes over tea back at the house.
